End of Year Wrap Up

Whew!!! I can't believe the holiday season is almost over...and what a holiday season it was! Believe it or not we are still printing holiday cards, now that Christmas has come and gone people are sending out Happy New Year cards.

I know times were tough for some local retailers but we had a great holiday season and we want to thank all of our customers who supported us as well as many other local merchants. It is truly amazing to see Richmonders doing their part to revive the local economy.

The blog was a little quiet during the holidays (as we were a little busy) so I wanted to report of some of the trends from the 2008 holiday season.

We predicted that there would be more digital photo cards this year but we were pleasantly surprised to see how many people wanted a traditional photo card to share with their family and friends. Also we thought that more people would use online services to produce their own photo cards but we were proven wrong once again. While we know those services provide economical and speedy options for people we found that our many customers wanted to one, spend their money locally and two, send out a unique card that really showed off their family picture. So again thank you to everyone who visited us this season.

As for parties...we couldn't believe it! I think we did more party invitations this year than ever. So I hope every one's parties were successful and you had a great time celebrating the season with family, friends and coworkers.
